The guns were taken apart, finished and then reassembled with no attempt to put the guns back together matching. Gun is very good especially for one of these guns. Very good blue and case colors are present. Grips have been refinished. "US" was added at time of refinishing. These guns were issued to the Buffalo soldiers as cartridge guns were coming in and the buffalo soldiers always received hand me down. Very nice gun with good history.

|  | Colt Service Ace .45 ACP caliber pistol. U.S. Naval Pistol Team gun with letter and documentation. This gun started out as a Service Model Ace in .22 caliber. The gun was rebuilt by the Navy to a .45 using a National Match slide and NM adjustable trigger gun has a Bo-Mar sight. Grip straps are stippled by the Navy Armourer. The gun was issued by serial number in September 1959 to Lt. Richard A. Olsen. This is a documented Ace that is Navy converted to .45 for their Bulls-Eye Team. Note: Slide is numbered in tiny digits 365 instead of 356. Obviously a transposition by the armourer. U.S. Navy. Lt. Olsen was a member of the Naval Bulls-Eye Team. Included are Lt. Olsens Certificate of Title for the pistol. Several NRA Lifetime Master Cards for Indoor and Outdoor. Here is a neat gun that parallels the Camp Perry National Match Autos!

This is one of the mystery blades of the Confederacy where no one knows exactly who made it, but it is agreed to be a Confederate made Bowie! Some well-known dealers and collectors attribute the manufacture to Cook and Brother of New Orleans. These knives have an unusual ring on the guard, some examples having just one ring, others having two rings. These were originally thought to be made as bayonets, but are unfinished on the inside and have no way to attach.
