Winchester 1866 Rifle. Serial number 35XXX range. Manufactured approximately 1870. Has very good plus bore. Beautiful mustard color brass frame. Barrel has about 93-94% blue. Very good stock. Desirable Tang sight and hooded front sight. This is a very fine 66 rifle. $29,500.00

Winchester 1866 carbine. This gun originally started life off as a musket, but has been converted to a carbine. It appears this was done in the time of use. Lower tang has been repaired and there is an old blacksmith nail in the stock at the wrist on the left hand side. Barrel was reshaped from the barrel band to the receiver. The gun now has a half round half octagon barrel. This gun also was converted to centerfire. All of the alterations and repairs made to this gun appear to be done in a period of use. Brass has bark golden patina. Bore is about average. Very reasonable priced 66 with a lot of character! $3,195.00

Winchester 1866 rifle 3rd model made in 1874. Brass has a nice mustard color patina with barrel has sharp edges though there are spots of light pitting in places. Forearm shows possible saddlewear while buttstock has period carving “J.D. Chandler/ 1884”. Mechanics work perfectly and the bore is very good. This is 66 rifle with a good western feel. $7,950.00

Winchester 1866 rifle. 4th model made in 1888. Excellent brass that has a nice mustard color patina, barrel has a nice smooth gray brown and there is no major pitting. rear sight is a replacement. Stock appears to be original, but has been refitted since it left the factory. Lower tang is cracked and therefore stock is not fit perfectly to frame. Overall a very good 1866 rifle and very reasonably priced. $5,950.00

The butt stock is an old replacement that is in the same style as an original 66 stock. Brass is untouched and is a mustard colored patina. The barrel has a nice smooth patina. Bore is fair. Winchester Model 1866 .44 Centerfire caliber Saddle Ring carbine. Gun is 155XXX serial. Last 66s were sometimes sent out as centerfire .44 caliber. Factory letter says gun was shipped 1887. Condition is very good plus with 90% blue on barrel and tube, beginning to thin a little. Brass is fine light honey color and is very sharp. Bore is very good and stock is very good.
