Winchester 1873 .44-40 caliber saddle ring carbine. Has a smooth gray patina on metal with spots of pinpoint pitting in places. Very nice wood with one spot of roughness on the right hand side of the forearm. Scarce carbine with an old west appearance.

Winchester 1873 2nd Model Deluxe .44-40 caliber rifle with factory letter. Has half round half octagon barrel. Half magazine. Pistol grip, checkered. Case hardened and shotgun butt. Tang sight. Shipped in 1882. Gun has about 60% light milky case colors. Barrel has about 80% blue mixed with some brown patina. Bore is very good.

Winchester 1873 rifle with case hardened frame. Very high condition gun with just about all of the original blue on the barrel. Strong case colors remain though there are areas of the frame that have turned to a silver. Traces of case colors even remain on the buttplate. Nice wood as well. Bore is excellent. Just a really nice gun!

Winchester 1873 1st contract musket. Very good gun. Metal has a smooth gray patina free of pitting. Wood is very good. There were two large contract orders of 1873 muskets, one in the late 300,000 range, then the 2nd contract that began around 570,000. Gun shows honest use but not abused.

Winchester 1873 Saddle ring carbine with nickel finish. Out of the entire 1873 production only 1307 were a special order finish according to the Winchester handbook by Madis. This gun has around 40% of the nickel finish remaining around the frame and traces around the protected areas. Buttstock was overly sanded. Markings all remain sharp. This is a scarce gun and is accompanied by a letter.

Winchester 1873 .22 short caliber rifle. This is the scarcest caliber among the 1873 rifles. Bore is very good and the action remains tight. Metal has a nice smooth brown patina with a nice amount of blue mixed in. The wood is very good as well. Made in 1902. This is a very attractive 22 caliber 1873 rifle.

Metal had some surface rust that has left a very fine pin prick pitting over much of the metal. Gun is very sharp and stock is very good. (Has a small ship out of the right front forend.)
