Archer Pair of Duellers flintlock pistols. 9 1/2" barrels, 15 3/4" overall length. Guns are identical except that one barrel has a slight flat on the top while the other barrel is round on top. Locks and all other parts are identical. Trigger guards have Acorn finial. Bores are a little over .60 caliber. They just need a case and accessories. Reasonably priced.

Czech Flintlock signed A. Staein G Astin Ger A Prag. Look is finely chiseled with a battle scene. Gun is silver mounted and Damascus pattern barrel is silver and brass inlaid. The barrel inlays appear to be later and also appear to be for Turkish or other Middle East taste. Stock is very nicely carved. Barrel is 8 ½ long and overall length is 15. This is a fine quality pistol as are most we have seen from Prague.

French Flintlock Horsemans pistol by Nicolas Govnon. Has 14 barrel and measures 21 1/2 overall. Wood is original with no replacements but has a sliver out of the bottom of the lock mortise. Overall condition is about very good. Metal has no pitting, but has some stains and patina color. Buttcap and trigger guard are nicely embellished.

Italian Flintlock pistol signed S. Scandella on lock and barrel sink. Barrel length is 12 1/2" and overall is 19 1/2". Scandella is listed as Florence, circa 1725-1740. Sideplate, lockplate trigger guard are chiseled steel. Stock is laced with engraved intaglio silver. Barrel band treatment would indicate that this pistol was sold or used in Turkey. Very interesting pistol with very fine quality embellishments.

Middle East Flintlock pistol of unusual size and form. Iron parts (lock, hammer, trigger guard, barrel and sideplate) are chiseled in relief and very well done. Buttcap and barrel sheathing are in silver. The pistol is slender and the grip angles down at a sharp angle. Unusual and very nice looking Eastern gun with quality work.

Pair of English Flintlock pistols in original excellent condition made by Jefferys in smooth bore. Have 6 barrels and measure 11 ½ overall. Guns have roller frizzen and waterproof pans. Barrels have almost all original brown finish. Trigger guards have traditional pineapple finials and retain virtually all the original blue. Stocks are excellent with minor nicks. These are very fine large bore travelers pistols that have not been messed about!
