Rare Smith & Wesson Martially marked American model. All matching, all correct Martial American model. All of the As are present on the left hand side and all of the Ps are located on the right hand side. Very good original blue remains on both the frame and the barrel. Nice sharp cartouche on grip. Well above average. Martially marked American, as these are most found extremely well used.

Smith & Wesson No. 2 Army .30 caliber revolver. This gun is in the 34XXX serial number range. Has factory silver and blue. Barrel, cylinder and frame all have matching assembly numbers. Barrel has very good blue and frame has 98-99% original silver. Grips are excellent. This is a very nice No. 2 Army with scarce blue and silver finish.

Smith & Wesson 1st model Schofield U.S. Army issue serial number 17XX. Bore is near mint. Grips are excellent with crisp cartouche. Hammer has almost all its case colors. Barrel and frame have 95% blue. Cylinder has about 50% blue that is mixed with thinning blue and has bright blue in the flutes. Blue is about excellent on both the front and rear straps. This is the best U.S. 1st model Schofield we have owned. This would be very hard to improve upon. Top notch gun for a Smith collector.
