Bacon 2nd Model Navy Revolver (AH4212)

Bacon 2nd Model Navy Revolver. Nice sharp gun with a smooth grey patina on the metal. Markings nice and sharp. Very nice engraving on the frame. Grips are very good. Very interesting design where a removable disc screws on to the cylinder for the purpose that many believe was to evade the Smith & Wesson patent for a bored through cylinder. Scarce gun with only 150 of these produced. Comes with an article from Bacon expert Lowell Wagner about the history of Thomas Bacon.
