  • Colt 1st Model Martially Marked Dragoon. Made in 1849. Well above average 1st Model Dragoon! Nice sharp gun with a smooth dark gray patina mixed with original blue. Approximately 15% of the original finish remains in protected areas. Cylinder scene is very good. All numbers match. Grips still have visible cartouches. This is a Martial Dragoon from the third contract, and lots of these guns went to Texas. In addition to cartouches, it has various inspector’s marks on different parts. Very nice gun and certainly in better condition than what you normally see!

  • Colt 1st Model “Fluck” Dragoon. Made in 1848. Early gun that falls into the beginning of the “Fluck” Dragoon range of 2216-2515. This Fluck theory has been expanded to the "Being the Second Contract" pistols which went from serial 2000-3000. This gun has been cleaned and some of the markings refreshed. Action works fine. A dovetail was cut for a rear sight through the barrel address and now is missing. Gun is all original except the above restoration. Desirable to find a gun in the original “Fluck” range.

  • Very rare Confederate Colt CL Dragoon. Made in 1860. 8” barrel gun which was on several of the CL Dragoons. Reasonably sharp gun with a dark gray patina and good cylinder scene. Gun is mostly matching and works properly. Left hand side of the barrel lug is stamped “CL Dragoons”. Grips are very good. The cylinder is 23 numbers off the rest of the gun. The CL Dragoons were named after John Crocheron who supported this unit and the unit was called “Crocheron Light Dragoons” hence CL Dragoons. The unit was formed in Mobile, AL in January of 1862. This unit saw heavy fighting in the battles of Shiloh, Murfreesboro, Chikamauga and Chattanooga. It is estimated that there are only 105 total number guns that were issued and marked. It is only estimated that 25 or so are known. This gun was in the famous Robert Pershing Collection and comes with a write up from the late collector.

Case colors have softened but full coverage remains on the frame. Grips are finely checkered. This gun has a three-digit serial number as this gun is in the London Dragoon serial range of 1-700. Cylinder scene is excellent, and all cylinder pins remain on the back of the cylinder. Action works perfectly. Very hard to find a London Dragoon with this much original finish. Accessories are perfect. Very fine set!

  • Rare Colt 3rd Model Hartford London Dragoon serial #18 and pictured in Joseph G-Rosa’s book Colonel Colt London. Listed as being from the reknown Colt collection of Dr. Chester Bonoff of Los Angeles. The revolver is cased in the proper English mahogany case with key, cleaning rod, nipple wrench mold, oiler, large English Cap Can; Silvered powder flask by Sykes and a rosewood container for extra nipples. Action works perfectly. Gun has fine English scroll engraving and has an excellent cylinder scene. Grips are burl walnut. Gun has very good blue. Grip straps have traces of silver. The case is very good with some abrasion to the cloth interior and some scratches and nicks to the wooden exterior. This is a very handsome set and it would be very difficult to find another.
