Colt Single Action Army .45 LC (C14146)

Colt Single Action Army .45 LC caliber revolver. Manufactured in 1926. Barrel length is 5½”. Action works and indexes perfectly. Serial numbers appear on frame and the matching numbers are on the grip straps under the grips. Collectors call these “one number guns”. This change in serial matching is thought to be a more cost effective method by Colt. The action works perfectly and indexes perfectly. Bore is excellent. Gun has approximately 92-94% blue and approximately 70% case colors. Grips are excellent. Very fine pre-war Colt.

Note: This cylinder appears to be original to this revolver as to finish and wear. The cylinder has a tiny number “07” on the rear face. The last two digits of the serial number of the revolver are “03”. This is then a cylinder mismatched to this revolver. Looks really good but mismatched. Reasonably priced for a fine pre-war Single Action.
