Fantastic Spanish Pair of Guardia de Cuerpo Del Rey Flintlock Pistols. Circa 1730/1740. Body Guard to the King Flintlocks. Barrel: 13.9” long. Caliber: 16 mm, unmarked, ram rod correct modern replacement. Lock: iron no-bridled pan, marked. Iron furniture, these are the only known examples of the mode. This model is a copy more or less, of the French pre-1731 French Garde du Corps pistols.
