Texas Longhorn Arms Grover's Improved No. 5 .44 Magnum caliber revolver. Rare Texas made custom grade "right handed" Single Action based on Elmer Keith's No. 5 custom Colt Bisley, hence the "Improved No. 5" moniker. Grover claimed that Sam Colt must have been left handed since the original Single Action Army design was made to be held in the left hand while being loaded and operated, so he made his gun with the loading gate and ejector rod on the left side, for use by a right handed shooter. This gun has a 5 1/2" barrel, bright blue finish, flattop adjustable sights and walnut grips. It comes cased with a "Texas Longhorn Arms: marked holster. A very desirable Bill Grover single action in excellent condition.
