Made circa 1800. 50 caliber with an 8” barrel. Beautiful example of a Japanese Tanegashima. The iron barrel is silver inlayed decorated with a Dragon and Mon. The stock is lacquered and is in excellent condition.

Made circa 1800. 44 caliber with a 42” barrel. Metal has a dark brown patina. Stock is very good with brass inlays. Action works well.

Made circa 1800. 65 caliber with a 39” barrel. Very neat example of Japanese match lock. Barrel has a dark brown patina. The barrels has silver inlays. The muzzle is a cannon type. The stock has laquer work and has inlays. Very neat example!

Made circa 1800. 2 1/8” bore with a 23” barrel. The barrel has a dark brown to almost black patina decorated with a silver Dragon and Mon. There is a signature done in Gold. The stock is excellent. This is a very unusual matchlock due to its massive size. The gun weighs approximately 80 pounds!  This is certainly the best Japanese matchlock we have ever...

Made circa 1800. 55 caliber with a 42 ½” barrel. Nice sharp gun with a dark brown patina, almost black. Wood is very good with inlays. 

Made circa 1800. 42 caliber with a 28” barrel. Barrel has a dark brown, almost black patina. Wood is very good. This is a scarce carbine length.

Made circa 1800s. 55 caliber with a 40” barrel. Very fine gun with mixed metal work on the barrel. Stock is very good with brass inlays. This Matchlock is a lot more ornate than you normally fine.

Made circa 1800s. 48 caliber with a 31” barrel. Metal has a dark brown patina with spots of pitting. Wood is good with a repair by the hammer.

Made circa 1800s. 62 caliber with a 31” barrel. Nice sharp gun with a mostly gray patina on the barrel. Ther barrel is decorated with birds done in silver the length of the barrel. Wood is very good.

Made circa early 1800s. 40 caliber with a 35” barrel. This gun is in fantastic condition. The barrel has nice sharp edges and is decorated with a dragon motif using mixed metals. The stock is excellent.
