Serial number 320219. Made in 1870. 31 caliber with a 4” barrel. Nice sharp gun with a dark gray patina. Cylinder scene is still visible.

Serial number 180018. Made in 1860. 31 caliber with a 5” barrel. Very nice sharp gun with traces of finish mixed with a smooth brown patina. Cylinder scene is strong and excellent. Frame still has good case colors. Grips are excellent.

Serial number 121144. Made in 1856. 31 caliber with a 5” barrel. Very sharp gun with a dark gray patina. Cylinder scene is very strong. Grips are excellent. Both Trigger guard and back strap have most of the original silver plating. 

Serial number 289705. Made in 1866. Very fine gun with 60% - 70% of the original blue on the barrel, very good case colors on the frame and varnish remaining on the grips.

Serial number 298860. 31 caliber with a 4” barrel. Beautiful condition with 97% of the original blue. Case colors are excellent. The trigger guard and back strap have all of their factory silver. Grips are excellent. Accessories are very fine as well as case.

Serial number 55675. Made in 1853. 31 caliber with a 3” barrel. Very nice gun. Barrel has been cleaned. Cylinder and frame are nickel plated. Grips are excellent. The case is very good with nice accessories. There is a Colt Guard badge in the case which we do not believe is real.

AUSTIN LOCATION.

Serial number 114291. Made in 1856. 31 caliber with a 4” barrel. Gun has been expertly restored. Gun is French cased with very fine accessories. Case does not close all the way with out putting pressure on the lid.

Serial number 149425. 31 caliber with a 4” barrel. Gun is in exceptional condition with 97% of the original blue. The frame has virtually all of the bright case colors. Grips are excellent. Gun is cased with very fine accessories.

Serial number 329576. Made in 1871. 31 caliber with a 4” barrel. This gun has a non matching barrel and a broken ramrod. Hammer screw has been replaced and is protruding out of the right hand side of the frame. Action is not working.

Colt Model 1849 pocket .31 caliber revolver with a 5" octagon barrel was manufactured in 1855. Metal is a medium brown/ grey patina with surface oxidation noted throughout.  Grips retain about 97% original varnish with light handling marks with excellent fit overall. Numbers are matching, trigger spring is weak but functions correctly. 

AUSTIN LOCATION

Serial number 53307. Made in 1852. 31 caliber with a 6” barrel. Metal has a dark brown patina. Metal is clearly factory engraved,  but does show wear. Action indexes properly and locks up tight. Grips have been refinished, but long ago.

Colt Model 1849 4" .31 caliber pocket percussion revolver manufactured in 1854. Metal has a light grey patina with scattered surface oxidation. Stage Coach scene is still visible on the cylinder. Revolver is all match, including the wedge. Action indexes properly with a good lock up. 

Cased Colt 1849 Pocket made in 1861. Very fine gun with 80%-90% of the original blue on the barrel with some flaking and high edge wear. Frame is excellent with bright case colors. Grips are excellent. Case is very fine. All accessories are nice.  

Factory correct cased colt with 4" octagonal barrel, made in 1962. All serial numbers are matching. The action works perfectly. The cylinder scene is very good. The barrel and frame have very good blue. The factory varnished grips have all of the original varnish and minor handling marks. The trigger guard and backstrap have an even patina. This circa 1867 31 caliber percussion Colt Model 1849 pocket six-shot revolver is in the condition collectors love to see. The 5" octqgon barrel has a like new bore. Colt 1849 Wells Fargo Pocket Model Revolver. Made in 1853. 3” Barrel in .31 caliber. Nice sharp gun with a smooth gray patina. Cylinder retains over 50% of its scene. Grips are excellent. Trigger guard and backstrap still have 35% of the silver. Action works perfectly.

Colt 1849 Pocket factory engraved .31 caliber revolver with 85% of the original blue finish on the barrel. Frame and cylinder are nice and sharp and have a very nice mixture of original blue and patina. Cylinder scene is excellent. Engraving is excellent and very sharp. Grips are deluxe walnut. Beautiful factory engraved Colt Pocket worthy of being cased!

Serial 187483.31 caliber with 5” barrel. Metal has been cleaned and has a gray patina. Some od the cylinder scene remains. Grips are very good. Action works well. This gun is mismatched with the barrel, frame and cylinder being serial number 187483 and the trigger guard and back strap are serial number 201415.

Serial number 93582. Made in 1854. 31 caliber with a 6” barrel. Metal has a dark gray patina with moderate pitting throughout the metal. Grips are very good. All numbers are matching. Action indexes, but does not lock up solidly.

This is an unusual pocket 1849 Pocket model. The 6" barrel is not marked with an address and the barrel lug is not serialized and never have been. This is an excellent '49 with matching serials the on backstrap, trigger guard, and frame. The cylinder scene is excellent and 100% clear.
