Serial number 13250. Made in 1850. 31 caliber with a 6” barrel. Very fine gun with 50% of the original blue. Very strong cylinder scene is present. Grips retain most of their varnish.

Colt 1848 Baby Dragoon. Made in 1849. 3” Barrel in .31 caliber. This is a nice sharp gun with a smooth gray patina throughout. Approximately 25% of the cylinder scene remains visible. All serial numbers are matching. Grips are very good. Action works perfectly and gun locks up tight.
Colt 1st Model Dragoon. Made in 1849 .44 caliber with a 7 ½” barrel. Metal has been cleaned and now has a somewhat gray patina. Some cylinder scene can still be seen. Gun is all matching. Grips are good as refinished and has a minor repair at the front toe of the left-hand side.
Cased Colt 1848 Baby Dragoon. Cased Colt 1848 Baby Dragoon. Beautiful gun with 6" barrel and about 95% of the blue on the barrel. Case colors are present and are muted. Baby Dragoons typically do not have bright case colors. Cylinder scene is excellent. Grips are excellent. Gun is in an unusual old case that resembles a Paterson case.
