US Civil War revolver made in 1862. Revolver is martially marked. Action works properly. Serial numbers are matching. Markings are clear and visible. Cylinder scene is faint. Grips have a faint cartouche . Metal has a pleasing brown patina. Very good overall condition. A popular Civil War issued revolver!

Serial numbers are all matching, except for the trigger guard. Bore is good with strong rifling and some light corrosion in the grooves. The action works perfectly. Trigger guard and backstrap have Civil War era military sub inspectors initials. Grips are good with some nicks and dings. Barrel address markings are sharp and clear. Cylinder scene is partially visible with wear.

Both guns were manufactured in 1868 in .44 caliber with 8" barrels. Guns are in excellent condition with most of the original silver and gold finish. The silver is mostly tarnished, but there are areas that have been rubbed. The cylinders have most of the original gold. Both guns have unnumbered extra cylinders.
