Colt 1861 Navy

Single action percussion pistol with 7.5" barrel, made in 1863. Bore is fair with good rifling and some frost in the grooves. Serials are all matching. The action works perfectly. Serials are matching. barrel address is clear and legible. The cylinder scene is 35% visible. The grips are very good and show some handling wear. Overall a very good example.

Serial Number 14560. 36 caliber with a 7 ½” barrel. Very nice sharp gun with a dark gray patina. Very good cylinder scene. The cylinder does not have a serial number and does not appear to have ever had one. Grips are very good as revarnished. Action works well.

Manufactured in 1872. Bore has strong rifling with some minor pits. All numbers are matching. Barrel address is mostly visible. Action works properly. Left grip has on old repair near butt. Cylinder scene and serial number are not visible. A reasonably priced 1861 Navy.

Civil war period production manufactured in 1864-1865. Bore is very good with strong rifling. Action works properly. Cylinder scene is approximately 25-30% visible. Cylinder safety pins are intact. Grips are good with normal handling wear. No abuse or cracks. Barrel address is clear and easily legible. All numbers are matching except the barrel lug and cylinder. Metal has a pleasing gray...

Colt 1861 Navy Model Revolver. Made in 1866. Very fine civilian Navy model. 80% of the original blue remains on the barrel. Frame has all of the bright case colors. Grips are excellent with all of the varnish. Action works perfectly. This is a top notch example of a 1861 Navy!  

Colt 1861 Navy revolver. Factory engraved by Gustave Young in the running vine patterns. Silver plated with gold plated rammer and cylinder. Carved and checkered Mexican eagle and snake grips. Serial #18135E, “E” indicating engraved. All matching numbers with very good cylinder scene. A very handsome revolver with great looks that Colt collectors love to see....

Excellent Colt 1861 Navy Conversion. 98% of the original nickel. Barrel, cylinder, and frame are about perfect. Silver on trigger guard and back strap has flaked to 40%. Grips are excellent. Beautiful gun!
