Colt 1855 Roots

Serial number 24661. Made in 1860. 28 caliber with a 3 ½” barrel. Nice sharp gun with traces of finish. The cylinder still has a good visible scene. Grips are very good.

Colt Root Presentation Revolver. Inscribed on backstrap “AA Pattou from C.H. Colt Christmas 1870”. This is a 7th Model with the screw in the cylinder. Cylinder scene is perfect, grips are excellent with 98-99% original varnish. Nipples are perfect and the revolver appears unfired. Case is excellent with accessories. Serial number 360. 28 caliber with a 3 ½” barrel. Very rare gun most easily able to tell is the octagon loading lever. Gun is in excellent condition with 85%+ of the original blue. Grips are excellent.

Cased Colt model #2 Root revolver. Gun is very good plus, with 93-95% blue. Action needs adjustment. Excellent grips. Velvet lined case with accessories. Fine cased set.  

Cased Colt No.7 Root revolver. Beautiful near mint gun is a very rare contour factory case. The No.7 is the rare model with the screw in the cylinder. Case is excellent as are the accessories. Very fine factory cased set!

Colt 2nd Model Root Revolver. Gun has approximately 95% blue. Matching numbers. Very good grips. 95% original varnish, gun is cased with an excellent Eagle flask, Colts Patent mold, Colt cap can (Eley Caps), nipple wrench. All very good. Case is very good. Very handsome cased set.
