Serial No. 2926, made in 1879, .45-70, 32" round barrel with Naval acceptance proofs visible. Metal is a smooth brown/grey patina, bore is bright with strong rifling. Stock shows expected wear, the initials "R.T" are carved onto the right side of the butt-stock. Left side has "257 042" stamped just below receiver address. Action functions correctly.

Serial No. 4187, 26" otagonal barrel chambered in .45-70, manufactured in 1880. Overall good condition with the metal being an even grey patina, Bore is very good with strong rifling present. Wood shows old repair around the safety and magazine cut off button, minor handling wear is also noted. Action functions correctly, magazine has a capacity of six.

Stock is good, with minor storage and handling wear. Bolt is curved and cleaning rod entrance plugged. These modifications are seen in Californian militia guns bought in 1915.
