Serial No. 2926, made in 1879, .45-70, 32" round barrel with Naval acceptance proofs visible. Metal is a smooth brown/grey patina, bore is bright with strong rifling. Stock shows expected wear, the initials "R.T" are carved onto the right side of the butt-stock. Left side has "257 042" stamped just below receiver address. Action functions correctly.

Serial No. 24188, made in 1884, .45-70, 28.5" long barrel. Overall good condition, barrel and other metal surfaces are a dark grey patina with minor surface oxidation noted. Bore is good with some frosting noted in the grooves. Stock shows expected usage and wear marks. Receiver and barrel are marked with "US", cartouche noted left side.

Made circa 1880s. Made in 1890. 45-70 calibers with 22 ½” barrel.  Metal has an even gray patina. The forearm has been checkered. Wood is good. This gun was mostly likely in a very dry climate as there are small dry cracking in the butt stock. Action works well and still has all of the magazine components. Action works well. Bore is dark.

Very Fine Winchester 3rd Model Hotchkiss Musket. .45-70 caliber with an excellent bore. Barrel blue rates 96% with only bluing loss is around barrel bands where someone put minor dents in metal apparently from when trying to take off the barrel bands. Frame has all of the case colors visible, but they do show some fading. Very fine example overall!
