Winchester - Model 1895

Serial number 5009. Made in1897. 30-40 caliber with a 28” barrel. This gun has approximately 50% of the original finish mixed with patina. The wood is very good with handling wear. The butt stock has been shortened with a ventilated butt pad added. The barrel has been replaced as it has a Winchester proof mark which is later than the gun’s production date. Very fine scarce gun!

Serial No. 401108, made in 1917, .30 Army, 22" round barrel. Barrel is mostly a dark grey patina finish with small areas of blue present. Bore has oxidation visible throughout with light rifling remaining. Wood has nicks, dings and scratches visible throughout, some wood loss is visible right side on next to the receiver. SN:69753. Made in 1910, 30-03 with a 24" barrel. Bore is good with frosting in the grooves, Rifling remains strong. Barrel has grey patina. Receiver has brown/grey patina with traces factory blue. Stock has been sanded, condition is very good. This caliber is one of the scarcest in the 1895 series. Action is smooth and functions correctly. Overall condition is very good.

SN:5765. Made in 1898, .30-40 Krag, with a 28" barrel. Bore is excellent. Pre-war lever action rifle. The metal has been refinished and looks good. Wood stock and forend are very good with wear. Overall in very good condition.

SN:416336. Made in 1922, .30-40 Krag with 28" barrel. Bore is very good. Lever action rifle with 80% original blue and receiver has patina. The stock has been checkered and is in good condition . Overall in very good condition.

SN: 413238, made circa 1922, 30-06 Springfield, 22" Barrel. Rifle has been refinished with the barrel starting to turn a plum color. Bore is bright with strong rifling visible. Stock has also been refinished with and old repair noted right side wrist.

Serial No. 6859, made in 1898, .30-40 Krag, 28" round barrel. Barrel is starting to thin to a grey patina, Receiver is "U.S" marked with inspector mark noted on the bolt. SN: 00172ZM95C, Modern Production, .30-40 Krag with 24" Barrel. Lever-action rifle with Grade III/IV walnut and 4-round capacity magazine. Overall excellent condition.

SN:00015YM95D. Modern production, .405 Winchester, 24" barrel. 98% original blue remains with two areas of discoloration visible under the barrel. Stock is good with some wear noted right side forearm.  Bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling, action functions correctly

Made in 1901. 30-40 Krag caliber with a 28” barrel. Nice sharp gun with a smooth even brown patina on the metal. Wood is very good. Bore has strong rifling with a dark bore. Action works well.

Winchester 1895 Takedown .35 WCF caliber rifle. Made in 1922. Has 24” barrel. Very nice sharp gun and a scarce takedown variation. Barrel has 90% original blue. Frame has blue in protective areas but is mostly a gray patina. Wood is very good with normal handling wear. Bore is dark with strong rifling.  

Winchester 1895 .35 WCF caliber rifle. Made in 1903. The barrel has 90% of the finish. The frame rates at 25% of the original blue with patina. The bore has strong rifling and is bright and shiny. Nice sharp gun in a great caliber!

Serial No. 3757 .30 U.S. manufactured in 1897 with a 28" round barrel Winchester Model 1895 Flat side rifle. Retains approx. 85% original bluing, wood is good with some dings, scratches and mars noted. Bore is good with strong rifling visible, action functions correctly. Nice early flatside 

Serial number 49802. Made in 1905.  40 caliber custom caliber with a 24” half octagon half round barrel.  We have chambered casted the barrel ands this gun is a complete custom caliber. We are not selling this gun as a shootable gun. Metal has been refinished. Wood is custom. Very attractive custom Winchester 1895 Rifle!
