Manufactured in 1898. Bore has strong rifling and is dark in the grooves with some pitting. Metal has a gray patina. Wood is very good. There is a stain on each side of the butt stock. (It is not a repair.) Good representative example.

Near Mint Winchester 1886 Saddle Ring .45-70 caliber carbine. Made in 1891. Has a 22” barrel .45-70 caliber. Gun is in near mint condition with bright original case colors on the frame and bright blue on the barrel. Wood is excellent. This gun may be unfired, as it has a near perfect bore. Formerly in the Frazier Museum Collection in Louisville, KY.

Winchester 1886 .45-90 caliber rifle. Made before 1892. The serial number has been altered to a 3-digit number of “713”, but by the markings on this gun, we can determine it is an antique and made before 1892. Has a 26” barrel in .45-70 caliber. Metal has an even gray patina. Wood has been refinished. The magazine has been most likely shortened.

Wood is excellent. Gun has a tang sight which was probably added during the period of use. Bore is excellent. Nice sharp gun!

Winchester 1886 38-56 caliber rifle. Made in 1890. Light gray patina throughout metal. Nice sharp gun with good clear markings. Bore is excellent. Wood has been lightly refinished. Action works well. Nice sharp gun that is just lacking finish.

Winchester 1886 .38-56 WCF caliber rifle. Manufactured 1899. Special order rifle with button magazine, half round – half octagon barrel. Bore has fair rifling with corrosion in the grooves. Overall, the bore rates fair to good. Barrel and receiver have good plus to very good blue. Stocks are very good with no cracks or chips. Action works perfectly. Fine model 1886.  

Case Hardened Winchester 1886 .40-65 caliber rifle. Made in 1892. Very fine gun with half magazine. Barrel has 95% of the original blue. Has 70% faded case colors on frame, including forend cap. Butt plate has patina. Wood is very good. The initials “G.E.L.” are stamped lightly in stock on right-hand side of wrist. Gun has a tang sight. Bore is excellent. .40-65...

Winchester 1886 Deluxe Lightweight .33 WCF caliber rifle. Made in 1910. .33 WCF caliber. Metal has 85% original blue. Wood has very fine deluxe grain. Case colors remain on hammer and lever. Has letter confirming all feature, except tang sight being added. Bore is very fine. Very fine Winchester 1886 Deluxe Lightweight!
