Made in 1892. 45-70 with a 26” barrel. This is a nice sharp gun with a fair amount of original finish. The barrel is mostly a blue to brown patina. Frame still has traces of case colors. Wood is very good as refinished. Action works well and bore has strong rifling with some pitting. Very nice gun in one of the best calibers.

Outstanding custom engraved 1886. Rifle was manufactured in 1908. Receiver is engraved with game scenes and scroll motifs. 26" barrel has a floral motif engraved near receiver. Gun is in near mint condition with bright original case colors on the frame and bright blue on the barrel. Wood is excellent. This gun may be unfired, as it has a near perfect bore. Formerly in the Frazier Museum Collection in Louisville, KY.

The serial number has been altered to a 3-digit number of “713”, but by the markings on this gun, we can determine it is an antique and made before 1892. Has a 26” barrel in .45-70 caliber. Metal has an even gray patina. Wood has been refinished. The magazine has been most likely shortened.
