Made in 1898. 44 RF with a 24” barrel. This gun is in spectacular condition with 96% of the original blue on the barrel and forend cap. Excellent Winchester 1866 Rifle. Made in 1878. This is a superb example! 97% of the original blue finish on the barrel. Wood is very good with slight shrinkage at the butt stock. Brass frame is excellent with an even patina. This is a late 3rd model which still has the brass butt plate, but it is a transitional with an iron forend cap. Bore is bright and shiny.
