The barrel is marked with a Winchester proof mark. There is an import mark on the left of the barrel. Stamped rear sights. Overall excellent condition.
Serial No. W62566, 26" round barrel chambered in .303 British. Scarce Winchester Contract Patter 14 bolt action rifle. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Original Bluing is starting to turn, Wood shows usage and handling wear with a small crack noted on the right side by the bolt handle. Action functions correctly.

Rare Winchester contract blank 1911 frame for WW1, Only four of these partly machined 1911 frames were ever manufactured before it was stopped due to the end of the War. This piece came from Norm Flayderman's collection that he got from the Winchester Gun Museum. Frame also comes with a letter.
