U.S. Model 1881 McKeever Cartridge Box, 45-70 by Watervliet Arsenal. Third type model. This model is more recognizable due to the tool compartment being added. The Watervliet arsenal stamp is noted on the back. Interior cartridge loops are intact and pliable. Very good looking Indian War cartridge box.
U.S. Civil War Enlisted Belt with Cartridge Box. Cartridge box is 1861 pattern in .58 caliber. Box has original tins still inside. One buckle and front leather tab is missing. Very cool Civil War piece!
Rock Island Arsenal McKeever Cartridge Box for .30-40 Krag. Beautiful Rock Island arsenal McKeever Cartridge Box dated 1904. These were made to hold .30-40 Krag ammunition. Leather is in great shape. Nice Rock Island stamp is noted on the inside flap with a date of 1904. Very good cartridge box!
Model 1874 McKeever Cartridge Box .45-70 Model 1874 McKeever box that was issued to the Pennsylvania National Guard. Leather is good. Shows some wear and minor cracks. Loops are in great condition. Great Indian Wars piece to own!
U.S. Civil War Cartridge Box Type II July 1864 U.S. Civil War cartridge box that was made by Wilkinson. This one seems to be an unissued box. Box is in very good condition with a sharp inspector’s mark! Very minor cracks that are due to age. Wonderful example of a Civil War artifact!
U.S. Civil War Enlisted Mans Belt and Percussion Cap Box. Standard issued infantry belt with Pattern 1839 oval belt buckle. Belt also has a H.W. Oliver, Pittsburgh cap box. Belt and cap box do show wear and use. Leather is still in good shape. A must have for the Civil War collector!
U.S. Civil War Cartridge Box U.S. Pattern March 1864 cartridge box. Box is stamped “Ohio” on the outside, inside flap is stamped “C. Peters”. Box does show use and wear. It is still in great shape for being 150 years old!
