Pre-War Smith & Wesson Revolvers

SN: 6538. Made around 1910. .44 Special caliber with a 5" barrel. Bore is fair, with pitting and good rifling. Factory refinished S&W Triple Lock revolver with nickel finish. The grip frame is stamped "R-N" and "176", indicating it was re-nickeled in January of 1976. The polishing is excellent with all markings clear. SN: 188989. Desirable pre-war production with 3.5" barrel. The bore is excellent and the actions work properly. Has vivid case colors on the trigger and hammer, 99% of its original blue and excellent checkering on the grips. Overall excellent condition.

SN: 42597. Pre-war model with 6.5" pinned barrel. The bore is excellent and the actions work properly. The hammer has a wide spur. Has 95% of its original blue, the grips are in fair condition. Overall good to very good condition.

SN: 651955. Pre-war revolver with 6" barrel. Bore and action are excellent. Has about 85% original bright blue with most of the wear on the backstrap. The grips are very good with light marks.

SN: 30494. Scarce early Target model made around 1903. Has a 6" barrel, adjustable sights and round butt grip frame. The bore is very good, bright with a few spots of light corrosion. Has about 60% original blue finish mixed with patina. The grips are very good with light wear, no cracks or chips.

SN: 449735. Pre-war revolver with 5" barrel. Bore is excellent. Has police markings on the backstrap: "Police Dept. St. Louis, Mo. No. 310". The gun has been expertly refinished.

SN: 168955. Pre-war D/A revolver with 4" barrel. Has been reblued. The bore is fair with pitting, the action is good.

SN: V50072. WWII vintage service revolver with British proofmarks. Has been refinished, probably in England. Bore and action are very good.

SN: 8681. Break-open revolver with 2" barrel and 5rd cylinder in nickel finish. The bore is very good and the action works properly. Overall very good condition.

SN: 59298. Pre-war revolver model of 1926 with 5" barrel and blue finish. Very good condition with some holster wear. The bore and action are excellent. The pre-war Magna grips are numbered to the gun, and have some wear. The gun supposedly was shipped to the Houston PD but is not marked.

SN: 24839. Nickel 2nd model hand ejector with 6.5" pinned barrel. Has excellent pearl grips and lanyard loop. The hammer and trigger have retained most of its case colors. Overall very good condition.

SN: 93717. WWI U.S. military revolver with 5.5" pinned barrel. The bore is bright with strong rifling. Has 99% of its blue. There is a bursting bomb on the left side of the frame and base of the grip is marked U.S. Army 1917. Overall excellent condition. Comes with a U.S. marked WWI holster. Inside the cover of the holster is marked with "1st Lt F.A. Pierson."

SN:101054. Pre war revolver with 4" barrel and nickel finish. Bore has strong rifling with pitting. Action works properly. Metal has some flaking with approximately 80% original nickel plating. Good overall condition.

SN: 26120. Pre-war revolver with blue finish and 6.5" barrel. Bore is excellent. Has about 90% original blue with most of the wear on the grip frame. Grips are excellent.

SN: 29921. Scarce pre-war Target revolver with 6.5" barrel, blue finish and adjustable sights. The bore is excellent. Has about 85% original blue. The grips are very good and action works properly.

SN: 224789. Manufactured approximately 1915. Barrel is 4". Action works properly. Bore has strong rifling with pitting. Metal has been cleaned and is forming a grey patina. Fair overall condition.

SN: 275524. Top break revolver with 3.5" barrel. The bore is good with light pitting and good rifling. Has mostly patina with traces of blue. Good condition overall.

SN: 72861. Pre-war revolver with 4.25" barrel. The bore is fair, pitted with good rifling. The finish is a brown patina. The action works properly.

Serial number 137950. Made in the early 1900s. 32 S&W caliber with a 2” barrel. Beautiful gun with 92% of the original nickel. Excellent blue on the small parts. Grips are excellent. Action works perfectly. Bore is excellent!

SN: 16116. Pre-war big bore revolver with 6.5" barrel. The finish is mostly patina with traces of blue. The bore is fair with etching throughout. The action works properly.
