Approx. 6,000 Marlin O.K. model deringers were made in 22, 30, and 32 rimfire calibers from 1863 to 1870. The 2.75" octagon to round 22 caliber rimfire barrel has a good bore with rifling wear. English made six-shot pepperbox with 3" barrels. Overall length is 8.25". This a bar hammer percussion pepperbox revolver firing double action. The metal parts are all foliate engraved. The grips have fine line checkering and are excellent. The frame is marked "D. Egg". We assume this to be Durs Egg work. Quality certainly points that way!

Moore's patent derringer. Barrel length is 2 1/2". Bore has good rifling and is corroded in the grooves. The right side of the hammer spur is broken off. The left side is fine and you can cock the hammer easily with the left side. A very good looking example.
