This Type III Remington 41 short rimfire double deringer has the single line REMINGTON ARMS CO. ILION. N,Y on the top rib. The barrels have poor bores. The overall gun retains approx. 75% nickel blending with loss at the muzzles and left side of the barrels. The mother of pearl grips are fine with no cracks or chips. The action functions correctly.

Serial number 34549. Made circa 1860s. 36 caliber, 7.5" Octagonal barrel. Blue finish with two- piece varnished walnut grips. Brass trigger guard. This revolver retains nearly all of the blue finish with some flaking on the frame and cylinder. Grips retain all of the varnish finish.
