French Tap action flintlock pocket pistol. Has silver inlay in wood. Nice engraving on boxlock, in the white which was the norm at the time. Barrels are 3 ½” long. Over/under approximately .38 caliber. Nice deluxe pocket pistol from the 1800 period.

French or Belgian Over/Under Flintlock Tap Action pistol. No makers name, no proofs. Bore is approximately .44 caliber. Gun has sliding hammer and frizzen safety. Buttstock has nice silver wire inlay. Gun works fine. Action is engraved with a drum and panoply of flags. Barrel length 3 1/2" and overall length 8 1/2".
