Caucasian Miguelet Lock Pistol. Barrel length 17 ¾” and 16” overall length. Barrel has gold wire inlay, NOT BRASS. We tested it. Miguelet Lock works fine and is not hard to cock as most Caucasian pistols. Butt cap is deeply chiseled in rococco to scrolls with a silver cameo of a robed figure holding a lance. Stock is very good plus. Very fine example of a Caucasian pistol.

Barrel is from an English or European pistol of an earlier period and has an “IP” proof at the breech near the tang. Caliber is .60. Barrel length 9 ¼” and overall length is 14 1/2 “. This is a well-made gun, particularly the engraved lock. Condition is very good to excellent.
