Serial No. 2706, made in 1887 by Erfurt , 11mm, 32" round barrel. Serial numbers are matching, bore is in excellent condition. Areas of the barrel look to have been cold blue some time ago. Receiver has been polished into the bright, Stock has been sanded with faint cartouches and regimental markings visible. Action is smooth and functions correctly, magazine tube holds 8 rounds.

Lock plate has been polished with "Crown and Tower" still visible. Wood shows scratches, dings and marring. A 3" crack is visible from the forward of the trigger guard to front side plate screw. This American Revolutionary War Era flintlock musket is in overall good condition with scattard oxidation and pin-prick pitting visible on its metal surface. This 1893 model revolving carbine was made in Belgium by H. Pieper of Liege. These 9 shot revolving cylinder 8mm Pieper caliber carbines were used by the Mexican Rurales.
