Has bayonet but is missing lock at end of stock that the bayonet snaps into. Bayonet stays on gun tight anyway. One of George Lovell early weapons.

Suhl Prussian 1849 Navy musket. Made originally as a percussion gun. Navy marked on the side plate. Brass furniture. About 2000 were made. If that were not enough it was sent to the U.S. and issued to the Philadelphia volunteers in the U.S. Civil War. See marking on barrel. How cool is that?

French 1866 Chassepot 11mm Needle Fire caliber rifle. All matching, 75% patina finish. Infantry rifle from Franco-Prussian war. Used a dramatic innovation in 1866. Put the French ahead of Prussian for a short time. These guns were finished in the white to begin with. These are getting hard to get at this point. Stock very solid, but has grain crack on left side near receiver. Bore very good plus.

Gun was surplused around the time of the American Civil War and sold to the state of Ohio for issue to Union troops. Guns is Ohio marked on the top of the wrist. Very interesting history to this musket having seen action on two continents.

Rare Japanese Rifle. Sighted smooth bore, made using a Murata Action. This is not a converted Matchlock, in our opinion but rather an original gun made as you see it. The butt stock has very pretty Silver Floral Inlays and Silver Shi-Shi Dog Inlays. For forend and overall composition of the gun reinforces our opinion that this is a rare gun made from scratch and not a converted Matchlock.
