British Military Flintlock Blunderbuss. Barrel length is 18” and overall length is 33½”. Lock is marked with a crown only and “Tower proof”. Barrel and other parts are brass. Barrel measures 1 5/8” across the bore at the muzzle. Action works perfectly. In our opinion this may be a Naval issued Blunderbuss.

For forend and overall composition of the gun reinforces our opinion that this is a rare gun made from scratch and not a converted Matchlock.
