Whitney Kennedy Special Order Short Rifle. Rare gun! 20” Short rifle. Octagon barrel with a half magazine. Gun mostly has brown patina, but there is some traces of blue on the receiver. Stock shows normal handling and is unaltered. A chip of wood is missing on the forearm on both sides. Very rare gun!

Produced by Steyr for Portugal as the model 1886 Kropatschek in 8x60R caliber carbine. This one is the more difficult to find carbine. Still has faint cartouches on both sides of the buttstock. The bolt is non matching and the bore is about good. These guns saw long service with most in the colonies until the 1960s. Overall in good condition.

Sharps 1874 .44 caliber Sporting rifle made in 1874. This is an early gun with the Hartford Collar and was shipped to J.P. Moore & Son. The condition on this gun is excellent with virtually all of the original blue remaining and the case colors are strong with silvering limited to the tangs. Wood is excellent as well. This well above average gun is accompanied by a letter from Dr. Labowskie.
