A. Schurk 98 .22 Short caliber rifle. Originally it was a WWI era German GEW98 Infantry rifle. It was expertly converted to 22 short caliber in the 1920’s-1930’s. This was done by boring out the chamber and barrel. Then inserting a .22 caliber chamber and barrel liner. The stock has a repaired Dufflecut. matching numbers. Excellent bore. very unusual conversion. Excellent condition.
