Pre-War side by side. Barrel is marked "LC Smith Field Grade Hunter Arms Co". Barrels are 32" choked full. Right bore is excellent. Left bore is very good with a minor area of light pitting. Receiver has a mostly grey patina with trace case colors in protected areas. Pistol grip cap is cracked. Stock has some crazing. Bottom of receiver is marked "Long Range". Good overall condition.
SN: 234858. VH grade with ejectors. Made around 1930. The bores are excellent. Has 30" barrels choked extra full with some surface rust and blue loss. The receiver has traces of case colors. The wood is very good with light wear and an added recoil pad. LOP is 14 7/8". A good looking gun, ready for the field.

Side by side field gun circa 1900-1910 with 32" Damascus barrels. Bores are bright and shiny, no pitting. Frame is marked "1" over "12". Length of pull is 14" over factory Ithaca butt plate. Butt plate is not chipped or cracked. Metal has a gray patina. Good overall condition. Sold as a collectable, not safe to shoot.
Scarce PH grade side by side. This grade was only in production for a short period of time, and falls between a G and V grade. Chambers are 2 1/2". Barrels are 28". Bores are excellent. Length of pull is 14.25" over the factory Parker Dogs Head butt plate. Checkering is very good. Very good overall condition. Made in 1897. 12 Gauge with 30" barrels. This is a DHE model which means it is a D grade with Ejectors. This gun is in excellent condition as being mostly refinished. The barrels have a beautiful browned finish over a gorgeous Damascus pattern that has 99% remaining. The frame is very sharp and still has original case colors...

L.C. Smith Ideal Grade 12 Gauge shotgun. Barrels are 32” in length with 98% blue, chokes Full and Full. L.O.P. is 13½” over a non-factory pad. This shotgun has automatic ejectors. Bores are mirror bright. Stocks have been varnished long ago. This is a solid Ideal Grade. The stocks need to be refinished and recheckered to make this a very fine Ideal Grade!
