Merwin & Hulbert 3rd Army Model. Made in 1870’s. 44-40 caliber with 7 ½” barrel. This gun has approximately 25% of the original nickel finish. The metal has a dark gray patina with spots of pitting. Grips show heavy handling use. Frame and cylinder are matching, while the barrel has a different assembly number. While mismatched, the gun appears to be like this for along time.

Bore has good rifling and has corrosion in the grooves. Grips are excellent. Action works perfectly and works single or double action. Breech block/barrels have DRP patent marks. Scarce oddity pistol.
