Smith & Wesson No.3 Australian Contract. Made in 1890’s. Only 250 of these guns were made. .44 Russian caliber with a 7” barrel. Gun has 96% of the nickel. These guns were refinished when they were decommissioned. This gun is nice and sharp. Grips are very good. Action works perfect and gun is all matching. The broad arrow mark is by the serial number. Very nice gun!

German Model 1883 Reich revolver. Marked C.ST.XII Guard Strafanstalt (prison) 12. So this was a prison guard’s gun at prison number 12. Gun is manufactured by Sauer & Sohns, V. Charles Schillling in Suhl. The buttcap is marked 19TS. 104 for Battalion 19 Train Sanitas. Bore is excellent and action works perfectly. This is a fine example of the German’s making a nearly indestructible revolver.
