U.S. Swords

US Civil war era calvary saber model 1860. Has a 35" blade with a 41" overall length. Blade is very good condition. Handle is near excellent with minor wear. Overall in very good condition. Has "P.D.L" stamped on blade. Does not have scabbard. (Consignment).

1902 US army officers dress Saber with metal scabbard in very good condition with scattered patina. Blade is 32" long with engraved blade and heavy oxidation near tip of blade. Overall condition is very good. (Consignment)

Imported Civil War Model 1860 Cavalry saber with a 34.25" curved blade with 26" fuller. Only marking visible on ricasso is "m>", this is due to the sword being cleaned some time ago. Leather and wire wrap remain in good condition, brass hilt and guard have minor nicks and dings along the edges. 

Made in 1851 by the Ames MFg. Co. Curved blade is 36" in length with a thin 18" fuller. Blade is mostly a smooth dark grey patina with light pin-prick surface oxidation visible. Ricasso is marked "US/A.D.K", opposite side "Ames MFG. Co./Cabotville/1851". Leather wrap around wooden grip is cracked and wire is missing. 

US M1860 calvary saber. Has a 35" blade with a 41" overall length. Blade and scabbard has been polished and sharpened. Handle is missing wire wrap otherwise very good. Stamped "US M.M 1864" on blade and "Ames MFG" on the other side of blade. and stamped "3362" on brass handguard. Overall in very good condition. (Consignment).

Made in 1846 by N.P. Ames Co. Cabotville, Mass.  Curved blade is 35.25" in length with 25.75" fuller. Blade has a dark brown/grey patina with minor nicks noted along the edge. Ricasso is marked "US/JCR" opposite side marked "N.P. AMES/CABOTVILLE/1845". Hilt is a single brass knuckle guard ending to a rounded quillion. Circa 1775-1783. 27" curved blade with 22" long fuller. Blade is a dark grey patina with light nicks along the edge. D-shaped guard has the familiar four openings with blunt quillon point. Bone grip has light surface cracks visible and secured to the mushroom head style pommel. 

Circa 1805, 34" slight curved blade that is a smooth dark brown patina with light surface pitting visible. Stirrup style brass hilt and knuckle guard with period repair visible on each side of the guard. Wooden grip is dark with wire wrap missing, heavier wear is visible right side. Circa 1770-1785, Popular New England pattern design with a 32" blade with a three fuller pattern. Hilt is compressed into an oval shape, guard is a stirrup hilt profile with a heart emblem noted. Blade is a dark grey patina, scattered surface oxidation is visible. Blades edge has nicks and dings. Great looking Revolutionary Saber!

U.S. Model 1860 by Christopher Roby, Blade is 35" in length with a 27.5" fuller. Blade is a grey patina with scattered oxidation and discoloration noted. Ricasso is marked "M/US/1863, opposite side is marked "C. Roby/W. CHELMSFORD/MASS" Leather and wire wrap are intact. Scabbard shows heavy surface oxidation visible. Overall good looking Civil War saber

Circa 1812-1813, 33.5" long curved blade with ricasso marked "P/HHP/N. STARR", blade is bright with scattered light discoloration visible. This model does not have a fuller. Wooden grip is wrapped with leather, and show heavy use. Guard and back strap are a smooth grey patina. Guard is stamped with "P", majority of the black paint is visible on the scabbard with light dents. 

Civil War era model 1840 "WristBreaker sword by Clemen & Jung (Germany). Blade is 35" in length with a 25.5"fuller, Blade has been cleaned at some point with scattered oxidation noted. Blade is a dark grey patina with scattered surface oxidation visible. Wooden grip is dry and leather is long gone. Made in 1864. Has an overall length of 41", blade length of 35". Made by Lamb. Has Lamb stamped as well as U.S., inspectors initials C.E.W, and 1864. Blade has been polished overall very good. Brass handle has lots of color with minimal cracking in leather. Overall in very good pluys condition.
