Massive sword with a 50” blade and 67” in overall length. Handle is leather wrapped. This sword is a Victorian copy made in the 1870s after a german sword of the 1600s.

Late 19th century Mexican cavalry saber. Ricasso is marked R.M. reverse side of ricasso is marked R&B under two squirrels. Scabbard has been cleaned. Approximately 75% of the leather wrap remains. Good overall condition. It is typical to find Mexican gear in this condition, due to actual field use.
