U.S. Bayonets

Civil War era Medical Staff sword issued to Surgeons and Assistant Surgeons, Blade is 29 3/4" in length with the etching dull and areas of discoloration visible. Brass hilt and handle are orante with "MS" on the shield shaped langets, opposite side is blank. Unfortunately no maker mark is visible. Scabbard is in very good condition with mounts present. WW2-production 10-inch M1 bayonet made by Oneida Limited. Comes with fiberglass scabbard marked "U.S. M7" on the front. There is a large & crisp Defense Acceptance Stamp on the back. Overall very good condition.

U.S. Civil War contract 24-inch saber bayonet for the Spencer Navy Rifle that was made by Schnitzler & Kirschbaum of Solingen, Germany & marked "S & K" on the blade ricasso. Overall condition is excellent.

Relic condition USGI M1855 Socket Bayonet for .58-caliber muskets like the 1861 Springfield rifle. Rust covers the entire piece, the locking ring will not move & the tip is broken off. Consignment

1899-dated USGI 16-inch Krag-Jorgensen rifle bayonet that has been deactivated by cutting the muzzle ring. Original finish across metal parts has taken on an even patina but the condition is otherwise very good & the wood grips are in better than average shape. Comes with metal scabbard in good condition.

M6 bayonet made by Milpar. No locking mechanism & no scabbard. Overall condition is good to very good.

Korean war-era cut down M1 Garand rifle bayonet with a 6.5-inch blade & 11-inch overall length. Excellent unissued condition but there is no scabbard.

USGI 16-inch M1905 bayonet (20.5-inch overall length). Blade is in rough condition & maker marks ground off. Original wooden grips have been replaced with World War II-era black plastic grips. No scabbard.

USGI M4 bayonet for the M1 Carbine. Blade is 6.5-inches long & is in fair condition but the markings have been ground off. Overall good condition. No scabbard.

Vietnam-era USGI M6 bayonet for the M14 made by Columbus Milpar and Mfg. Company. 11.25-inch overall length with a 6.5-inch blade. Bayonet is in overall very good condition with a Defense Acceptance Stamp on the hilt.

USGI M1 bayonet made by Oneida, Ltd. during World War II that has been cut-down to 11.25-inch overall length (6.5-inch blade). Bayonet is in overall fair condition with a ugly gray phosphate finish but it does not have grips.

U.S. WW2 production Union Fork & Hoe M1 14.5-inch bayonet with a 10-inch blade & a leather bayonet frog that has been converted into an improvised scabbard. Bayonet is in poor condition.

World War 1 production 21.75-inch bayonet with a 16.75-inch blade for the M1917 rifle made by Remington. Bayonet is in good condition but there is no scabbard & the left grip is missing.

Bayonet for U.S. Model 1889 12-inch Remington Rolling Block rifle. Bayonet is in fair condition & there is no scabbard.
