Danzig Arsenal 98 8MM caliber rifle. Produced in the 1900’s and used by the Germans in W.W.I. Later arsenal finished in 1935, which replaced the rear sight with a later style flat sight. Given to the Spanish for the Spanish Civil War, then arsenal refinished by the Spanish and imported into the U.S in the 1960’s. Has a Spanish replaced stock and original sling. Stock is in very good condition with minor dents and dings. Bore has strong rifling and is dark in the grooves. Good-very overall condition.
