U.S. model 1841 Mississippi rifle. Excellent original brown throughout the barrel. Wood is also excellent with very sharp cartouches throughout. Rear sight is a period replacement. Very fine condition.
U.S. Model 1841 "Mississippi" Rifle by Harpers Ferry. Original Harpers Ferry with an 1851 date. Small alterations have been made such as the rear buck horn sight, replacement ramrod and the bayonet lug is missing. Gun shows some handling but is completely functional. This is a very reasonably priced Mississippi Rifle!
U.S. Model 1842 percussion pistol by Aston dated 1852 both on lock and barrel tang. Stock is near excellent with crisp cartouches. Barrel has some staining from light rust that was cleaned off. Overall this is an honest 1852 Aston with sharp features and a very good look.
U.S. Model 1841 Mississippi rifle by Whitney. Excellent original condition with 90% plus Arsenal tobacco brown finish on barrel. Wood has almost all of the raised grain and the cartouches are sharp. Case colors on lock are visible in areas, but mostly a gray to brown patina. Excellent gun in top notch condition!
U.S. Model 1816 flintlock pistol by S. North. Stock is very good plus with crisp inspectors cartouche. Very good barrel and lock markings. No pits or damage. No cracks or chips on stock. Metal is smooth. Ramrod is a proper but recent replacement. Overall this is a real nice 1816 that has not seen a lot of use.
U.S. Model 1816 flintlock pistol. Original flintlock pistol. Markings are clear. Barrel has some light pitting. Lock has no pitting due to case hardening. Wood is very good with a good cartouche. Gun still has a strong main spring and hold both positions. Gun really does not show much use, rather poor storage. Very good US 1816 pistol!
