  • Stevens-Lord No 36 Single Shot Pistol. The 10” part-round/part octagon barrel has approximately 95% blue. The .22 S & LR bore is fine. The nickel plate frame, grip straps, trigger guard, and butt have approximately 90% nickel. The very finely checkered grips have some wear but are in overall very good condition. The barrel marking is very lightly stamped with J. Stevens A&T Co./Chicopee Falls Mass, Pat. Sept. 6, 1864. This gun is circa 1890. The pistol is named for Frank Lord, a prominent shooter of the period. The action functions correctly. This is a nice example of an early .22 caliber target pistol.

  • Rare Mauser Zig Zag Revolver. Small frame model in .32 caliber. Bore has good rifling and frosting in the grooves. The action works perfectly. Barrel is 3 5/8” and revolver is 8” overall length. The grips are somewhat special to Mauser as they are of a thermo molded material that depicts a winged dragon amid floral scrolling features in relief. The similar theme has been found on the later model 1896 (Broomhandle) primarily on large ring hammer, milled panel and flat side variations. The grips are perfect, no chips or cracks. There are differing accounts as to what the actual model is, 11mm Devisme Centerfire cartridge. Gun is in very fine original condition with 90% of the original barrel blue.   • Lincoln Jeffries Six-Shot Revolver. Very well engraved in the English manner with very tight scrolls. Top strap marked “Lincoln Jeffries 31 Whittall St. Birmingham Gold Prize London 1870”. Cylinder is marked “450 caliber”. Barrel length is 4 ½”. Bore is bright with excellent rifling. Grips are excellent with perfect checkering. Gun has approximately 85-90% lustrous blue. Note: the revolver appears to have two hammers. The lower hammer is the cocking hammer. The upper hammer when pushed down unlocks the cylinder and barrel to be opened. Gun has Birmingham proofs. Very unusual and very well made revolver. Lincoln Jeffries is listed in Nigel Browns excellent book of some 299 listing British Gun Makers. As 31 Whithalls Birmingham from 1873-1888 and several other Brimingham location up to 1953.
