German Pair of Officer Flintlock Pistols by Heinrich Sturm of Suhl. Very fine set of Flintlock officers’ pistols by Heinrich Sturm of Suhl, Germany who was active in Suhl from 1815-1850. These gun were made probably between 1815-1825. Stocks are empire form as seen on French pistols of the Empire period. These guns are in excellent condition with 80% of the original blue on the barrel. Both barrels are marked “ HSturm A SUHL”. The locks are polished metal and have rolling frizzens. Grips are checkered and show normal handling wear. Action work perfect. Very nice set of German Flintlock pistols.
