H&R 1873 Custer Memorial Officers .45-70 caliber rifle. Custer Memorial issue officers model rifle. These were made to commemorate a soldier who fell at Little Big Horn. This one is engraved with the name of “Capt. Myles W. Keogh”. The gun is heavily engraved with gold bands on the barrel. Although 268 guns were planned (one for each of the men killed there), only 100 guns were made. Comes in a Plexiglass Presentation case, with several U.S. Cavalry themed items. A neat set.
