Perrin First Type Revolver (AH4342)

Perrin First Type Revolver. First type with double action feature only. Serial is #447. Marked “Perrin et Cie” on frame. Bore has deep rifling and has some fouling in the grooves. Action works perfectly. Barrel length is 6 3/8” and an overall length of 11 ½”. Barrel has a ding on the left side, metal is otherwise fine and smooth with no abuse or pits. Finish is a light gray brown patina. Grips are excellent. Very nice example that was a private purchase by officers during the 1870 Franco-Prussian War. Hard to find French revolver.
