Maynard Civil War Carbine Converted to Shotgun (AL4265)

Maynard Civil War Carbine Converted to Shotgun. Very late gun being serial number 20184 out of 20,202. This gun is approximately .50 caliber, but is smooth bore. It has also been converted to cartridge. Very good blue on the barrel. Frame has turned to a smooth gray patina. Wood is very good. Interesting late production gun.
