Very Fine Colt 1878 DA Frontier Six Shooter .44-40 caliber revolver. Made in 1902. Very fine gun with 90% of the original blue. This gun has a 5½” barrel in 44-40 caliber. The marking |Colt Frontier Six Shooter| on the barrel denotes the .44-40 caliber. Grips are excellent. Action works perfect. Bore is bright and shiny with some streaking and with a couple of very small spots of pitting. Very fine overall 8.5 out of 10 bore.
