Beautiful Factory Engraved Henry Rifle (W9158)

Beautiful Factory Engraved Henry Rifle. Made in 1864. Nice sharp gun! Barrel has sharp edges and beautiful smooth even plum colored patina. Wood is excellent and has a visible Henry “Bump” right below the sling swivel. Frame is factory engraved with a dog featured on the left had side of the receiver. Patina is excellent. Butt plate is a 1st type and engraved ensuite. Gun is all matching including the butt plate screws. The tang screws should not be numbered in this range. Very fine attractive gun!
