Winchester 12 12 Gauge (W10720)

Winchester 12 12 Gauge shotgun. U.S. marked “riot” gun. 20” Barrel manufactured 1943. Excellent bore. Metal retains 99% blue. Wood is very good with appropriate markings on stock. The underside of the barrel near the muzzle has the “cut” for trench upper hand guard and bayonet lug. We conclude that this model 12 was in fact a trench gun that is now in riot gun configuration. The shotgun has 99% beautiful original blue with U.S. and ordnance bomb on the right-side of the receiver as well as on the barrel. The left-side of the buttstock has the U.S. inspectors cartouche “G.H.W.”. Correct serial range (Serial number 1014897) for inspector Guy H. Brewry. Excellent condition.
